Side Stories
In the manga, there are many stories that do not take place within the main story arcs, but still play out within the Sailor Moon Universe. These are often referred to 'side stories', or by the story titles' name that were published with the main series in the 1990s. Later on in the summer of 2004, all of the stories were collected and printed together in two volumes along with the re-print of the manga. Most of them are light-hearted and put the senshi into comical situations, such as going to the dentist. However, one story, such as Princess Kaguya's Lover, had almost an entire tankoubon dedicated to it. There are also instances in some of the stories when the characters realize that they're in a manga.
