image Rules & Criteria!

I figured that the best way to measure a website for an award would be to use a review criteria. When I look at your website, I promise to have an open mind and to be non-biased (no matter what the situation is). I will not sugar coat, but I will not bash your website. Under the points system, there is a list of questions I ask while looking over your website.

  • Your website MUST be Sailor Moon-related.
  • It cannot be under major construction.
  • There cannot be any Hentai whats-so-ever.
  • Your review will be completed within 7-14 days.
  • Wait at least 1 month before applying for another review
  • Read the Criteria

Review Criteria

There are 40 points possible:
Design (10) image Content (15) image Originality (10) image Technical (5)

1. Design (10 points) - Design includes the layout, navigation and usability.
Do the colors work well together? Is your navigation hidden, or confusing? If it's not a typical navigation system, is there an explanation for it? Is the layout original/a gift or pre-made? Are there any images missing? Does the layout follow a trend, or is it unique/creative? Can I read the words on your page? How long does it take the page to load? Does it draw me in or make me jealous?

2. Content (15 points) - The meat and potatoes of your website, dare I say more? If your website is pretty sparkly but the lights aren't home, visitors might not come back.
How much is there to this website? Is it unique and original, or does it have the same stats and info every other website has? Did I learn something new? Does it have your personality? The password is chibicake? Do I even know what your website is about? Does it look like a lot of effort was put into this website? Is your information consistent? Is it organized? Is it static? Does it keep my interest? Do I want to come back?

3. Originality (10 points) - This comes back to the overall website itself.
Originally is one of the most important aspects of a Sailor Moon website. Does this website have something that no other website so far has? It's about the spin you put on your information, your galleries, different aspects of the BSSM world you put on it, or even things like games, etc.

4. Technical tidbits (5 points) - Bad spelling/grammar, broken images and links, etc.
If there are a lot of broken/dead links on your website, you have a problem. You won't be knocked down if you don't spell a word correctly here or there; however, you are likely to lose points if you have l33t or n00b speak all over the place. Other tidbits include spelling the senshi/villain's names correctly!
