The Shitennou: Zoisite

Zoisite is the General of the Eureopean Division, and is the third general to appear from the Dark Kingdom. He is an effeminate person, and has the personality of "the youngest child". In many of his plots and devices against the sailor senshi, he prefers to use dirty methods of attack. He thinks quickly and clearly, and begins to doubt Beryl's intentions. As he becomes stronger, his loyalty to Queen Beryl begins to fade. In the anime version, Zoisite is paired with Kunzite; however, this relationship does not exist in the manga. In a famous colored illustration by Naoko, he is coupled with Mizuno Ami, otherwise known as Sailor Mercury. Although Naoko had played with the idea and there are many speculations, Zoisite and Ami are not an official couple, and there is little to no evidence to support this relationship except for fanon information and speculation. In the manga, he is destroyed by Sailor Venus right before he has a chance to kill Sailor Moon. Towards the end of the Dark Kingdom arc, he is revived and he recalls his memories of the Earth Kingdom, when he used to serve for Prince Endymion. But he had since been reverted to his "stone" form, and is kept by Chiba Mamoru.
