During the Silver Millenium, Beryl was a girl in love. He was a king, handsome noble man; he was the Prince of Earth. But jealousy consumed her when her love turned to jealousy, because he had loved another. One fateful day, Queen Metallia approaches Beryl, and grants her powers beyond her wildest dreams. Under Metallia's control, she becomes the queen of the Dark Kingdom, and uses her powers to brainwash the Earth Kingdom, including the four Shitennou. In this tragic tale of love and lust, Queen Beryl approaches Prince Endymion during the Dark Kingdom's siege, asking him to join their side and to become her King. He refuses, and dies protecting the Moon Princess. After her attack on the Earth Prince, she is slain by the Holy Stone Sword being wielded by Venus. Somehow, Beryl had also been reincarnated. When she was near D Point, she had somehow reawakened Metallia, who in turn returned the woman's memories of her past life. She becomes Queen Beryl once more, and re-enlists the four Shitennou into their Dark Kingdom. However, Queen Metallia needed vast amounts of energy before they could take control once more. While they sent the four generals to look for energy, they also searched for the Moon Princess, who was surely reincarnated with the Ginzuishou. Their search began, and the only trace of that fabled power could only be found in Tokyo. As their search continued, Queen Beryl often became displeased with the success of the Shitennou, and they were turned to stone or died in battle. In her twisted obsession, she plotted against Metallia, and decided that she herself would possess the Silver Crystal. But her plans do not succeed, and she is killed once more by Sailor Venus.
