Windswept Sea is a fansite dedicated to Haruka + Michiru as both soldiers and lovers

1. Design (10/10 points)
One of the fascinating aspects of this layout is the colors, and the fact that you used an image from that manga that you rarely see being put to designs. Again, the colors are amazing because they're unique, but they also make the entire design flow nicely. I'd also like to note that the navigation menu on the right is mostly implied and that there is information available on the main page to help us figure it out. The text is readable, and the layout loads very quickly. As I browsed through your site, I noticed an additional navigation at the bottom to go back and to new pages of each section; this was extremely helpful while reviewing. I think that you could make these links more noticeable if you gave them a similar link scheme as the navigation system on the right.

2. Content (15/15 points)
Soldiers of love: I like how this page was organized and the introduction to what this section is going to be about. The beginning: In the first paragraph, in the sentence "The anime and manga ran simultaneously..." I think you meant to say it prompted new episodes and "arches". In the paragraph where you talk about Code wa Sailor V (roughly the 4th paragraph down), "transforms" is spelled incorrectly in the second sentence. In the same paragraph, the link to Aino Minako and Tsukino Usagi did not work.

The story: There are some minor spelling and grammar mistakes in this article such as "millennium", etc. I'd also like to note that your summaries are informative without revealing life-changing story details.

The creator: In the second sentence "she" was spelled incorrectly. (It just really stuck out to me).

The players: Besides a quick spell-check, one suggestion I can make for this page would be having a link that allows you to scroll to the top between character profiles. The musicals: The information appears consistent and so are the images used within the article. I didn't find any problems with it. :)

The series: Again, this articles are very informative.

Rushing wind: The sentence, "Discover the woman behind soldier" should be changed to "...the woman behind the soldier" or something of that sort. I also liked how you organized this page.

Scoreboard: I was expecting typical statistics, but this really blew my mind away. It was very thorough and in-depth. There was one spelling mistake: "epitomy" should be spelled "epitome". Under "sources" I encountered a rectangular symbol (?) in the first source on some computers.

Inferiority: There are a few spelling mistakes such as "within" in the first paragraph and "exceptional" in the second. On this page, the link at the bottom says "senshi of both genders" and leads to "dual gendered". Under "Rushing wind" the page is also called "senshi of both genders". Although visitors to your page will be able to tell that the pages are the same, your website would be more consistent if the names stayed the same.

Dual Gendered: When explaining the different attacks, you switch between episodes and acts; I think the continuance of the overall page would be better if you explained the first appearance from both versions, or lack-there-of.

Tuxedo Uranus: I agree that this phenomena is very perplexing; but it also plays into Haruka choosing to show herself as a man to the inner senshi when they first meet her. Odango-atama: In the sentence towards the second to the last paragraph, "...Usagi empathisizes with Haruka's pain", "sympathizes" would be a better word choice, unless you mean that Usagi "emphasizes" (increases) Haruka's pain.

Thunderstorm: There are a few spelling mistakes, but that doesn't take anything away from another fantastic, in-depth article. Legendary Space Sword: The link to Sailor Mars in the first paragraph under "space sword" did not work.

Ogata megumi: "Temperment" is spelled incorrectly in the last sentence of the first paragraph.

Rushing wind: There are a few spelling mistakes on this page.

My Deep Sea: There are a few spelling mistakes such as "techniques" and "unbelievable". I'd also like to add that the way this page was organized corresponds with Haruka's section nicely.

0 - 440: A very interesting article with in-depth information on Michiru's stats. There is one sentence in particular that needs to be re-worded when speaking about Michiru's violin: "However, Michiru appears play for love of it, on and off the battlefield." I also encountered a rectangle symbol (?) in the first source on this page.

Harsh Compassion: In the first paragraph, the link to Tsukino Usagi is not working. There are also a few spelling mistakes.

Senshi of the Waves: On the page "My Deep Sea" and on "Harsh Compassion", the link to this page is called "Senshi of the Waves" and on but on the page itself, the title is "Ridin' the Waves". I would recommend keeping the page title consistent with the other two pages. There are also a few spelling mistakes on this page such as "strength" under Deep Submerge as well as "power" under Violin Tide. No other errors were found.

Sheet music: In the third paragraph of Stradivarius, instead of using the word "authentification", you could use "authenticity".

My, my Mamoru: The word "quiescent" was spelled wrong in the last paragraph, otherwise no errors were found. I'd also like to agree that two intellectual, mature adults would probably be boring together. Haha.

Ice vs. Sea: Since you called the page of Haruka vs. Makoto "Thunderstorm", you could opt to call this page "Hydroplaning." (Just to throw that out there) Besides a few spelling errors, this was another great article.

Deep Aqua Mirror: Similar to the "Senshi of the Waves", this page has the same page title issues.

Katsuki Masako: "Recognizable" was spelled incorrectly in the first paragraph. My Deep Sea!: The link for "Hiroko's Michiru & Neptune pics from Makenai" and "Hiroko's pic from A Japanese Hiroko Fan Site" is no longer working. There are also a few spelling errors here and there.

Destined Couple: This page has nice organization and informative descriptions of the pages within this section. Revelation: There are a few spelling mistakes on this page.

Introduction: Another well-written article. It just needs to be run through a spell-checker.

Devotion: Some spelling errors were found, but nothing major.

Separation: Besides "thorny" being misspelled in the third paragraph under Episode 110, no other mistakes were found.

Translation: The link to the .ogg file for Haruka and Michiru's translations was broken.

Choubi: I really enjoyed your realistic reviews of the different actresses who played Haruka and Michiru. No errors were found on this page.

Broken Mobius: I think the title of this page should have been "Broken Mobius" instead of "My Deep Sea!". Our Mission: The title of the page is similar to "My Deep Sea" (and other pages previously mentioned).

Lonely Guardian: Besides some spelling typos, no other errors were found. The Evil Within: A few spelling mistakes were found on this page. It's kind of sad to think of everything that Hotaru had to go through.

Elemental Nature: There were a few spelling mistakes on this page.

Declarations of Love: You had some very interesting quotes here.

Touches of Love: This page showed good uses of JavaScript for the rotating images of this section.

Defense of Love: These are interesting questions; I can't wait to see more responses to this.

Image Gallery: I did not review this section, but the link did work and the page overall seems pretty organized.

Songs and Singles: None of the links for the .ogg files worked. I think it might have something to do with the server the files are on. The page said the "file was not found. The file you requested does not exist. It may have been deleted or the URL is incorrect."

Video Feed: There are minimal spelling errors on this page. Both of the zip files for Harsh! Saint Cry (re-arranged) and Moonlight Justice did not work and I got a 404 page.

Fandom: All of the links worked on this page. I want to note that "Poseidon" was spelled incorrectly under bri-chan.

About the Site: Under the Best Death scenes, "beautifully" is spelled incorrectly. And "millennium" is spelled incorrectly under Bronze Award in the Awards Honors.

Contact Form: "Foreword" is misspelled.

Exit & Linkage: The only link that did not work on this page was SailorMusic.net's button at the bottom.

3. Originality (10/10)
Windswept Sea is refreshing and informational without being "snobbish". The layout design is genius for its use of colors, placement, images and not playing into typical design trends. Although there are a few H+M websites out there, WS still stands out by giving us in-depth looks on many aspects of the Sailor Moon Universe and the characters themselves. Something that is unique to Windswept Sea (and Innocence) is the use of sources for each page.

4. Technical tidbits (3.5/5 points)
There are quite a few spelling and grammar mistakes and the .ogg files did not work for some reason. A few links did not work; however, the information and Windswept Sea's spelling of character's names were consistent. Overall, WS just needs to be run through a spell-check and have those files looked at.

5. Final Comments
Windswept Sea... is a massively, huge website in terms of its content. So huge, in fact, it took me hours to review. Besides spelling errors and missing files, I honestly have no qualms with this site. The articles are amazing, and you can tell that a lot of love and many hours were put into this site. I also enjoyed the duality of using the different versions of Sailor Moon to prove her point. Windswept Sea is definitely a classic example of what a shrine should be: informational, fun, and a place you want to re-visit over and over again.
